New USA pitcher already over 30 pitches. It's only the 5th inning

I think Self is tired. Price could have probably gotten out of it, but Cann couldn't take a chance with the season on the line.

Where's the rain? Now would be a good time for a long delay

3 run bomb. This one is over.
7-2 USM

Need USA to answer. Neither team will burn pitchers in 5-run game
-
Are USM's bats corked? Good gracious. They're barely swinging, the ball looks like a routine fly ball off the bat, and it goes over the damn scoreboard.

Nope

Looks like we'll be playing Southern Miss at 6 tonight.
-
We going to be the only team not to hit a bomb in this hitter friendly park?

You mean South Alabama?

If South Alabama gets blasted that will help us win tonight as they won't have the confidence before and if USM is shutting their hitting down that tends to linger on double header type days. Either way we should have an advantage over the loser. Whoever we are throwing tonight absolutely HAS to throw strikes. If he can do that, we should make the championship round. USA's third starter is not as good as whoever we throw.

We still have at least another game to go...

It's a hitters ballpark.

We need McQuary to have the game of his life.

We haven't really come close. It would be nice if we got hold of a few this evening. I'd like to see Rooker build some cushion in his hr lead.

Yeah, typing on iPhone with 2 year old sniping my hand... East and Costal are history...both Darlings are dead as door knobs
-
Nine walks on Friday led to 4 of South Alabama's six runs. We have to throw strikes...

I guess Cole Gordon's 399 foot single didn't count...

Yeah I guess I do. I was thinking they beat South Alabama in the first game but it was Chicago. So we have to beat USA tonight, then USM twice tomorrow (or maybe once tomorrow and once Tuesday).
