You guys act like it's me out there pitching. This guy is dealing. And we don't exactly have major league guys throughout our lineup. And JB is pitching like shit but has only given up a manufactured run and a fly ball that went out of this bandbox. Shit.

Every week, some pitcher is dealing against us. Now if it's been every now and then I can understand, but every damn week? No, our hitters aren't adjusting to his slider.

Oh I know, JB is doing his job...just making the observation, bc we coulda used them Thursday night when it was 3-1, instead of bring in BP Plumlee and giving up the grand slam, for example. I just hate losing a series without even pitching your two best arms. Pisses me off

Today it's our lack of plate discipline and inability to adjust at the plate that is losing it

Some of you are ****ing stupid with this let's just start self today. It's not the way it works. You don't just run the kid out there to do something he hasn't attempted to do this season. Jb gave us 12 outs with only giving up 2 runs. 100% of you guys would have taken that. We had to get 15 outs to get to self and Price. And we are on schedule. Just have to scratch some runs.

Well, in a game where you may not score but 2 or 3 runs you have to have your best pitchers out there to keep you in the game. Billingsley has done a decent job so far but he is not the kind of pitcher in the SEC that is normally going to win you a 3-2 game. Self might have a chance to do that.

What proof is there that Self or Price can work 6 innings or so? I'm being genuine. The most I've seen either pitch is 2, maybe 2 and a third innings.

The reason he's "dealing" is bc we're undisciplined. If we had given our guys the take sign the first few innings we'd either have 10 walks, or we would be ripping fastballs right now. When you swing at everydamnthing they throw, "dealing" just requires throwing sliders in the dirt.

Nobody is saying this game is on pitching...we're just wondering how we can go a full series, lose 2 of 3, and not see Self or Price at all til it's basically over. Wish we had put Self in there at 3-1 Thursday night, knowing what we know now. When you have a limited staff, you gotta cut the runs off with your best when you still have a chance.
