Chris White was a freak. One of the best college LB's in 2010 and no one knew it. Why? Because White was white.

When I think "athletic", I'm not thinking best athlete at their position, I'm leaning toward an athlete that could be asked to so something outside his bailiwick, and still succeed, because he's just a natural athlete.
Nah. Dak is a slightly above average athlete on the NFL scale. Slay, BMac, and Redmond are elite athletes.

Actually they're both still in the NFL. Banks is a local guy who won the highest honor a college DB can win. That's going to trump the NFL for most MSU fans. Also Banks is around the program constantly & pretty much at every sporting event. Fans respect & like Slay but Banks is a hometown hero.

Chris White was/is a freak. Before his injury I'd have to add Nickoe Whitley to the list.
Justin Jenkins, Justin Griffin, Dicenzo Miller, Connor Stephen's, Dorsett Davis, - after 8 years.
-
Glen Young from the 80s played Football and Baseball.
-
I am going with Jamont Gordon. Dude would have been a nasty player if he played TE. Can he still come back and play? Not sure how eligibility works between different sports.
-
Omar Conner too. People forget that he was with the wrong coach. If he played for Mullen, he would probably still be in the league. Straight up baller.
-
Omar was a super basketball player

My top 3 would be Hunter Renfroe, Chris Jones, and probably Fletcher Cox.
Tommy Kelly was a monster and freak, not our greatest player but his measures kept him in the NFL
