JRob also RS'ed because of it and didn't see the field much as a R-Fr or Soph because he wouldn't block. And he had NFL talent
I agree that Hill is very talented. Aeris was too coming out of HS. Until Hill learns to block- he won't sniff the field. We go thru this same convo every time we sign a RB

It probably doesn't matter if Hill is the best RB we've ever had, if he can't pass block, he'll never play under Mullen.
I'm going to rename the RB position under Mullen, effective immediately, - Pass Block Specialist, or PBS.

IF JRob had NFL talent he would be on a team. Best he will be in the NFL is a practice squad player. He doesn't nor has he had the right "mind set" to be a Pro player. Way too many issues.

That's great haha
For a team with a rather small assortment of passing plays, we sure do act like we need the Great Wall of China as a pass blocking running back.

Ok, my bad, one year. He listened to the wrong folks RP, I know a few folks that know his situation or knew his situation.
I surely wished the best for him especially from his background, his time has passed I'm afraid.

It doesn't matter if he played in 1 game. If he played in the NFL, that's NFL talent.

I have talked to a former running back about our protections. He broke one of them down to me and my head was spinning on what all the running back has to read. And he said there were 21 more of those

This is not accurate at all. We run an NFL passing scheme.

Are we expecting to lose any PBS after spring?

So was Holloway an anomaly (in terms of PT) or a really good PBS? I don't think we will ever know.
On Hill, either force feed him carries or redshirt him but I don't see the point of wasting a year sending him down on kickoffs.
