Strick fires Ladies Basketball Gator coach
obviously will make a call to Vic. I cant see Vic leaving- but looks like he will get a good raise. Of course- he should if we make it past the Sweet 16.
I see people worrying about Vic leaving for A&M in a couple years, but I'm not so sure. The guy really seems to like his job at State. Do you really leave a program you have built to a top 15 level? Even if Vic we to jump to A&M down the road- Vic has made Cohen's job a helluva lot easier to hire a replacement

Time for Cohen to step up like he did with Mullen. Vic's teams are putting 7,000 butts/game in seats. We need to make a commitment to him and ask him to make a commitment to us.

I think the a&m concern is certainly valid. He is very found of that place. Now, the longer it goes, it might not be a slam dunk. But it's a worry. Florida, I think, will go elsewhere.

He also keeps beating his mentor, Gary Blair (presumably Blair Shaefer's godfather). He might want a dynasty all his own.

A&M is the bigger worry. They are from TX, and if A&M wants to, they can pay an unmatchable amount.

A&M is the only job we'd have to worry about, and I agree that he might stick around even over that one.
