May be true, but I'd think accuracy in HS is important when you're recruiting a kicker to start as a freshman.
Kinda like I'm not too worried about Touki toussaint walking batters left and right for the braves in A ball bc he's overpowering, but it's a completely different story if he's in atlanta's rotation this spring

Maybe so but those ingredients are going to need to bake a while. Don't think we can count on a guy with those stats coming in and kicking in the SEC this Fall if he doesn't show up until August. May have been the solution long term but not don't believe he would have been the solution for this Fall.

His highlight video of his Jr year shows more kicks made than the Max Prep numbers as well, if remember correctly

I agree. Plus what he did in the Army AA game. He even attempted a 69 yarder as well in HS that was a little short.

Yancy is such a blowhard. Just heard him on the radio & it's amazing how he can church up crap.
OM is banking hard on this Sanogo guy, who we have no offered, and Yancy says it's down to OM & MSU.
At this point, I'd love to Mullen just to offer Sanogo so that OM doesn't get a LB. We've got the extra schollies & at worst he helps us on special teams.
Just offer him to make sure OM loses a guy they really need

Does their tall skinny punter have another year? I remember him pinning us back several times with his booming kicks.

I was listening to that crap as well.... all I could think about was DeviousDawgs post from earlier.
Sanogo needs to get an offer from us.... agreed just to rustle the jimmies and put them in a tough spot and make them violate some ncaa rules to make sure they don't finish 58th.

Seems to me Sanogo would commit on the spot if we offered. But we aren't going to so he will take the OM offer.

According to Steve, we have offered Sanogo. He said that Sanogo would only agree to come on the OV if he had an offer in hand, because he had to cancel a visit to Boise State in order to visit us.

Just read on TRANT where LSU insiders are conceding Gay to MSU. That's pretty exciting.

Paul said Sango told him he didn't have an offer.

Well, whatever the situation, I wish we'd just get the kid to block OM. It's worth potentially wasting a scholly to ensure they don't have any LBs that can stop our scheme

If he isn't worth a scholarship to us then he won't be stopping anyone's scheme anyway. If we don't think he is good enough to be an SEC linebacker I don't want him. Grantham knows way more than me.

That's a shocking thought...maybe if he's not good enough don't offer.

This is from TigerDroppings:
How does miss state keep linebackers from leaving the state but we can't get any from in state or out of state? It's not like they are even close to the program we are.
KJ Wright and BMac say hello.
