    Seen Dillard in person. Kicked a 44 yarder against us and it looked like it would have been good from 50. Metro Bham schools are starting to produce some kickers. Lot of them have been getting good D1 scholarships recently

    The Bama administration was blindsided by this too. They didn't expect him to commit on what they offered. He doesn't have a full ride..... he took whatever offer they gave him. Also, Bama doesn't talk to their journalists like MS schools do. So take what they say with a grain of salt.

    A GT poster on the SEC Rant recruiting board predicted this after he decommitted. Apparently he was open with their staff that if Bama, UF, or LSU offered he was gone.

    No matter what Gay does nobody here should be "shocked". If a guy is not willing to go public to you prior to signing day but is telling you "I'm coming", to me that still has to be taken with a grain of salt until he signs the papers. The "recruiting game" is pretty much over at this point. There is no reason not to go public if you know what you want to do.
