Do we even consider pulling offer or offering grey shirt?

Hell no. Not only will he fully recover more than likely, but his teammate is a stud recruit for next year. No chance we pull offer, nor should we. He can still be a stud, just a minor setback

Sucks. Hate to hear. I had 2 of those myself and they are strenuous injuries to rehab and recover from. Plus they will always flare up for the rest of your life.

Pull offer? Stupid question.

Hell no. He will be back up to full speed in 6-8 months so he should be fine for summer workouts.

That's a Freezus question.

Well would it be out of the question to grey shirt? We've got very limited scholarships and I hate to spend one a knee injury that we aren't handling surgery. I'm sick that this happened.

Guys, ACL tears just aren't as big of a deal as some want to make. For goodness sakes, Griffin has had 2 of them and people are on board with him starting at fullback.
The good news is this:
1. It has happened early, so he likely won't lose any eligibility playing at MSU because of this injury
2. He isn't a shifty slot receiver that relies completely on his elusiveness. Jackson is more of a physical, straight line type receiver. Therefore, an ACL tear isn't a huge long term deal.
Would be a much bigger concern if this happened Graham or Williams

My only concern is we aren't in charge of surgical repair

Exactly. He'll be fine. All indications point to him being a good worker, too. Plus, his parents seem wise enough to not just send him to a "bargain" surgeon like I've heard of others doing.
