    Watching that rose bowl kinda makes me miss the days of bowls pre-BCS. I liked it when these bowls determined the champion even if it was messed up

    The semifinals weren't anywhere close to the Orange or the Rose (and a few more bowls) and I doubt the championship is either. The lesser bowls are usually mainly for the respective fan bases but the upper bowls are often great games.

    Sam Darnold is the real deal. That kid can play. There aren't many NFL quarterbacks that can make the throw he made to tie the game.
