I wish the NCAA would change some rules on defense, now days you can't touch QB or the receivers.
In today's games offense is the way to go, just outscore your opponent and be solid in the kicking games.
I suppose one day football will be a gloried flag football game.
I'd prefer a more defensive college football myself

Dak just mentioned at the Rose Bowl by sideline reporter as how USC coaches compares their Freshman QB poise

I wish we had a rb that could break a 70 yarder

I'm sorry... I stand corrected on my earlier statement. We do... his name is Aeris AND we have a QB that can and has done it too.

Boy I almost wished they hadn't brought Keith Jackson in the booth. I loved his calls over the years but that was a little uncomfortable. But understand wanting to give someone of his stature some air time.

It was like he would lose his train of thought. Very weak. Still love the Man. Whoa Nellie

One if the best of all time and my favorite calling College Football games. But I agree he seemed to struggle to stay on track and completely misunderstand a question.

Yeah, I totally agree. That was painful to see. Honestly, I didn't even know who it was until I rewound to see his name, and he is probably the top football announcer ever.
Did he have a stroke or something?

I have a feeling about half of the Sugar Bowl will be shown on ESPN News. Still 10 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter, and a half hour away from SB start time.

He has really aged. He was one of my favorites. Hope he is doing well.

I'm not sure. He is 88 so old age more than anything may be the issue.

USC scores a touchdown, then did you see how their QB intentionally slipped so he could get the 2 point conversion? Very crafty of him .... **

Yep, and he called what is still the most important football game MSU has played in modern times --- the 1998 SEC championship game.

And unfortunately there was no backup channel then, so we missed almost the first half of the game when the Big 10 (?) championship game went into overtime. We were doing great before we came on television.

Terrible call for unnecessary roughness. I'm not sure he even touched the guy.
