So are there NO decent WR recruiting options left for us outside of guys that are either in or from the state of Louisiana? I mean there are 49 other states.

Williams will either grow into a unattached TE type or be a Rojo type WR. Hunt has more potential as a WR than Williams. He could be pretty good by his Jr/Sr year.

Everything's quiet right now. More will be known closer to signing day. If Akers chooses LSU ( I doubt he does) CEH is ours.

That's probably bc they've fell back in the Cam race. A month or 2 ago they were ready & willing to lose Clyde to MSU to get Cam.

With Hill coming on board seems we are pretty set at RB with Williams, Lee, Gibson, Murphy and Hill unless someone decides they want to transfer. And that doesn't even count Dear who would be most effective if he would play RB. We are in a much bigger need for an impact WR.

Speaking of Dear, I think he missed his window to play RB for us. I think the combination of Williams, Gibson, & Hill is excellent with Mixon as the change the of pace guy. Not sure Dear is better than any of those guys.

Dear needs to be 15-20 lbs lighter next season.

Since the Canada hire, they're making him a priority. If they get Akers, it could get interesting, but I still think they hang on in the end.

Interesting that Akers just released a video saying he'd commit on the 28th. Wasn't he supposed to commit at the Army game? Why move it up?
