Did Ole Miss paint their grass green?

I've never seen so much green on a teams uniforms before.

I wouldn't put it last TSUN to try to show off their "beautiful" field by falsely painting it green.

Not only did Mississippi State embarrass LSU on this night. Davis Wade Stadium wrecked Tiger Stadium in music choice, atmosphere and, most of all, volume.

When I'm 80 and deaf, it's not going to be all those Springsteen concerts or Queen at Municipal Auditorium in New Orleans on Halloween Night in 1978, it will be this game...............Glen Guilbeau--Sherveport Times

Actually they grow it pretty damn good. Just not the kind you play football on.

It looked like they had overseeded rye grass. It stains much more easily due to it being softer with more water content especially when new.

My wife asked me the same thing during the game. The stain they had on there unis was a weird neon green.

Yes that was turf paint not an overseed. It looked good, by the way there is an MSU turf grad that is handling their Athletic turf now. The grass on the football field is relatively new so it's a solid decision not to overseed .
