Apparently we have a morning oractice and the kids can go after that if they live within a reasonable time from campus and have to be back tomorrow night. Others families are coming in and some players out of state are going home with teammates. Not a big problem really.

There is nothing wrong with kids going home after a morning practice then coming back that night - two days before a game. What the hell else are they going to do? Hang around their apartments and play XBox??

I just hope we show up and compete our asses off on Saturday. 2 years in a row Ole Miss has showed up with more passion and energy than us and we've allowed them to dictate the pace of the game.
I don't trust this year's team one bit, but I hope they just give me one game this year, other than ATM &a SC, where they show up and compete with passion and energy.

Missing practices won't improve our deficiencies anyways, so what's the big deal. Hell, I say give them the entire week off except for film study for the defense. Maybe that way, they can see themselves out of position, taking bad angles, missing tackles, and genuinely giving half-ass effort.

We got beat the last 2 years bc they wanted it more in '14 and they were better last season, not bc of home at thanksgiving IMO

I should add with the exception of Simmons. That dude is a freaking monster as a freshman! I truly hope he lights their heads up for the nonsense the Black Bears spewed about him prior to the season!

Same thing we've done whether we've won or lost. Just people like you bitching to bitch. Hell they are driving an hour away. They can do that whether we released them or not. Hell people get a grip. Maybe Dan will use the practice free day to figure out a way to best Womack...for once.
But....unless one practice makes our LBs into Johnnie Cooks and our DL into McPhee, P. Smith and C Jones....one practice will not matter.
