21 First time starters this year
On football team. That's most in SEC and ninth most nationally. We may not be young, but we are inexperienced. Not an excuse, just interesting.

You including 1A and 1B in that count?**

For some reason, I'm doubting those numbers.

Is that counting all 9 of Holloway's lives after getting killed running up the middle?
-
We had 3 returning starters on the oline alone.

Offense (10) - D Gray, Dear, Rankin, Story, Jenkins, Mixon, Jackson, Green, Williams, Fitzgerald
Defense (11) - Gray, Ward, Dale, Thomas, Simmons, Jung, Durr, Peters, Rayford, Graham, McLaurin
It ain't that hard to see.
"After dealing with Ole Miss for over a year," he said, "I've learned to expect their leadership to do and say things that the leadership at other Division I schools would never consider doing and to justify their actions by reminding themselves that "We're Ole Miss.""

Most of those guys on defense weren't ready to start. Simmons and McLaurin seemed to be the only guys that might start on another SEC team.
