The deal is we have a team full of freshmen who suddenly aren't allowed to play defense the way they've been taught all their basketball careers. More of an issue for us being so young, with only three players who had a chance to get used to the new rules last year.

It's not just that at all. Poor help on ball screens from Holman at least two or three times already. Fouls are part of it but far from the biggest issue

Stupid basketball. Jump shots get you beat with the new rules. Go to rim. All contact is a foul now. Literally, all. Can no longer no touch on dribble drive or at rim.

ucF shooting 70% so far and it's not just because they're red hot. They're getting easy, easy shots.
I dont think it's because our guys are having to play defense differently. I think it's because a lot of these guys have never played defense period. If you've ever watched AAU games you know what I'm talking about.

I know it's early but a lot of the signs are not good for this team. Players not high fiving on subs, walking off the floor like they don't wanna be there, walking straight to their seat and plopping down. Our players don't give a **** right now. We need an attitude adjustment.

We are in big time trouble this game. IJ is reverting back to shoot first PG which we have no shot in any game this year when he does that.
