    Saban is using former NFL players (Bama alums) on the practice squad.....

    i hope that the NCAA closes this. Talk about keeping your other strings healthy, while playing competition in practice that is at or greater quality as your starters, at least in key positions.

    It's perfectly legal so hard to fault him for doing it. Personally I don't think it should be allowed, but it will either be outlawed or become a common practice.

    The announcers mentioned it during the LSU game, said Saban had researched it, and there were no issues with it. I gathered it was only the two or three players they named on air, not an entire squad.
