So Garrett and Knight are both gone. We should be able to start moving the football.

Just so dumb. Mullen runs out the half and we would be sitting with a 21 point lead and them with no Trevor Knight and no Myles Garrett.

They had been playing Garrett all series after we hit the 28 point mark. I think we score at least two more TDs.

Yeah but Ross should have had that pass that would have given us 2nd and short. Ross has been so good all game and he starts his dropsies.

Only chance they had of scoring there was int return or punt return and we gave them chance at both. I'm a Mullen guy, but that was brutal closing out half
1st and 20 is far from an insurmountable down / distance in today's game. 3rd and 20? Different story. I do think we could have called more running plays, but still used our timeouts to try and score if the running plays were successful. But you have to at least try to score right there. I also think the deep punt was a good call. If the correct call is made or no blocks in the back occur, we get them inside the 5 with their backup QB and 3 timeouts stil left. Blocked punt for a TD or great field position for a FG are all in play.
Overall, you can't have it both ways. Mullen's biggest criticism is he doesn't care or doesn't get aggressive when he needs to. And then when he does get aggressive people call him out again. He's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.

I'm the one who's been saying that all week. We're always capable of making the play. Just gotta do it.
