    Our Culture

That game today showed me our program culture is completely shit. I dont know what has happened, but things that Mullen preached on and on about when he got here aren't happening. There is no relentless effort in any form or fashion. Richie Brown, Brandon Bryant, Jonathan Calvin,(all these on the ridiculous TD on the sideline) Devon Desper, Justin Senior all loafed and jogged around the field all day today. Those are all veteran players that we count on. We have 5th year seniors going out drinking the night before a game but people say its not a big deal. The players that I see that give it 100 percent week in week out are Donald Gray, Nick Fitzgerald, and Mark McLaruin. When you have teamwide problems like this, there is no 1 year fix as people are hoping Mullen can pull off with a good class. Its time to burn it down. We have a culture problem

Can you imagine if Saban had been on the sidelines during that game? He might have had a stroke.

Unfortunately it do seem to be shaping up as a multi-year climb back to a semi-decent SEC team.

He probably would've called security and had all the asst coaches escorted off campus while the game was going on ****

Saban would never have recruited the superior secondary talent we have haha

It starts at the top. You cant make players lead but you can demand effort. I dont see it from our coaches. I would love to see our practices.

The things that we are seeing are indicative of real problems in the locker room. I don't know exactly what the issues are but this is not a team, this is individuals trying to play a team game.

Houston is now seeing a similar problem that Mullen has created at MSU. Once the players stop trusting the head coach, it's over. The Houston guys know Herman is gone and they are quitting on him.

I'm telling you, young coaches have to be careful due to the amount of media now. Seeking news jobs continuesly will ruin your career

He "processed" a fair amount of guys left over from the Shula era.... and took a lot of criticism for "cutting" players, even...
