Couldn't get a nibble three weeks ago. Not enough room in the boat yesterday.
I posted for the first time three weeks or so ago whining about not being able to sniff a bite in a pond I know has plenty of LMB's
Well, all that has changed. At the 9-acre pond I fish in Yazoo County, somebody flipped a switch and they are fighting to get jerked out of the water.
My theory (I always have a theory) is that there is a lag between weather change and the bass getting hangry.
Anyway, we pulled in 25 lbs of fish in a few hours yesterday and will be going back for more Friday. This pond is home to ten- and twelve-pounders... if I ever get one in the boat, I will retire happily from this sport.
