We don't get kids ready to play. Period. That's why jucos don't work for Mullen and Hev. We've done ok with DBs out of Juco and some RBs historically. Other staffs have done great with them on the OL and DL.
Most coaches will tell you RB is the easiest position to get ready. We can't get a RB ready in 2-3 years. Other programs have them ready in 2-3 weeks.
I understand developing a QB, a WR, a Center, MLB, etc... but there are a lot of positions that you should be able to play kids pretty quickly. We don't.

We also beat out other SEC teams for Rankin instead of ULM and Middle Tennessee State. Apparently he is being coached down or a lot of coaches missed on him.
