Feel like this defense can keep LSU at 24 or below, but I'm not sure we throw it well enough yet to score more than 14 & Fitz could get hurt next weekend.

I wouldn't say WRs as a whole were a D, but Gabe Myles was horrid with 3-4 easy dropped passes. DL looked very different in the second half and Holloway up the middle has to stop.

I predicted 34-10 but I hated how we came out in the second half. Our play calling was blah and Holloway up the middle (12-13 carries) might as well be Nick throwing the ball away or taking a knee. Dan basically got a big lead and then road if to a win. He does that next week or against an average SEC team and we lose. He is still same ol' stubborn ass Dan.

Just in from the game. We played very well and inspired the first half, and bit more lackluster the second. I thought Fitz looked really good. The team seems to be back on track, and Mullen couldn't have been any more animated (for those who though he was sloughing off). And he wore long pants.

Yep you hit the nail on the head! we just ran for 300 yards. Y'all wanted better ol play and physicality you got it. And our DL whipped their OL.

Dan is gonna Dan. Which means conservative play calling and weak ass defense in the second half. Also, piss poor personnel usage. But he has always done that and that's probably not gonna change. But this was a good win and great confidence booster. Hopefully this week we work on our second half play and coaching because we will need the second half against LSU. As far as the secondary goes, I think it's a lost cause we just are good back there

Good win tonight.

I was surprised at how winded Fitz was, even before his 80+ yard run. He is quicker than I had given him credit for, but looks like he needs to get in "game shape".

Simmons is an absolute beast. Defense overall were flying to the ball.

Holloway is going to get decapitated at some point this season and the permanent injury will all be on Mullen's shoulders.

WRs had too many drops, but did come through at times when it looked like a catch wasn't possible.

Wish we had the intensity last week, but truly glad to see we have laser focus. Looking forward again to the season after the depression of last week!

We absolutely can play with them. We wont get blown out unless last weeks team shows up. Id feel better about a W if it was at home but we blew that last year. We've got a shot I think we will play with them, if Fitz can make a few plays with his arm we can win
