BYU beat Rich Rod and 'zona

May be a tougher game than I initially thought, and should pump the brakes on those mentioning RR for a HC position.

Neither team looked good. Arizona D line average 250 pounds. BYU should have just pounded the ball down their throat but could not. The scores were in the Teens.

I never thought BYU in their backyard would be easy. Unless we see a miracle turn around this weekend, I see it as a loss.

BYU at home is a tough game for 3/4 of teams in country... It was going to be tough regardless with the short week and auburn the week before.. And after what I saw on sat if we don't improve a lot it will be a huge upset if we win it..

I think all of the games left are now going to be way tougher than we originally thought

We couldn't run on a sunbelt line composed entirely of backups, missing 4 starters. If we don't harden the fvck up we won't make it into the teens.

I thought we would run Relf coast offense with Fitz who is very experienced in that offense. Instead we try to run the extremely complex Dak 4 check offense without Dak.

I don't know that the reason we went away from the Urban Meyer spread option has as much to do with the QB as much as it does the running back we choose to play.

It's like trying to run the wishbone with a 160 pound fullback.

I think that's why we went more pass heavy with Perkins and then our offense "returned" with Josh, and then went back to pass heavy with Holloway.

A case where brawn beats finesse.
