Prayers for you and your family! I am sorry to hear. My mother passed 2 years ago with pancreatic cancer, after getting me through Stage 3 colorectal cancer. It's not good, and I feel for you brother! Having said that I know you're headed to a very good place! You will receive your just rewards and be comfortable again for a change! Please tell my mother hello for me!!

I've been a lurker on here pretty much since day one, and a member and poster for about three years. This site has provided me with untold hours of enjoyment over the years.

In December of last year, I was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer that had already spread to multiple tumors in my.liver. I was given less than 6 months to live. I participated in a clinical drug trials forced <as long as my body would take it, and here I am, 9 months later.

However, my health has taken a turn for the worse in the last couple of weeks, and I now think I may only have a few days left.I didn't want to just disappear, so I decided to post and let the few of you who care know what's going on. I've asked jbjones to post for me.and let everyone know when I'm gone.

Thanks again to all of you for the hours of entertainment, and Hail State!

Thank you all for the overwhelming response. It's been a hard fight, but I have found peace and I'm ready to go.

Jbjones texted me a few minutes ago and told me about the brick. I'm shocked beyond words that you would do this. This is truly a family and it's an honor to be part of it.

Since I probably song post much more, I don't mind divulging my real name. I'm Roger Smith from Starkville. I suggested an inscription for the briock to jbjones. I assume he will contact the appropriate people.
