Does Saban play golf at Old Waverly?
On SEC Now this morning he was doing an interview with Charles Barkley and he was wearing an Old Waverley shirt. I guessing he got it while recruiting Scott Lashley.***

Yes.
If Mullen leaves, maybe we can offer Saban the same deal that South Carolina did to Spurrier with Augusta. Saban can be an Old Waverly member

This must be his golf bag set I saw there then.

I'll pass on Saban being coach here. Bama's going to keep him until he is no longer able to win them championships. Taking an old Saban will just mean that you are getting a grumpy old man. The good thing about our assistant coaching turnover is that we will have a lot of connections when we are looking for our next head coach after Mullen.
Let me be clear though. I want Mullen to stay at State for a long time. He has stabilized our program as a consistent winner and is raising our profile. As long as the program doesn't go into the gutter he should be allowed to stay. Eventually he will win a SEC Championship. It's just a matter of time.

Nothing wrong with Alabama folks spending money in Mississippi. The casinos make a killing off of them.

Yes. Dan Marino has been known to caddy for him there on occasion.

He does when I tell him to.
