Fundamentally sound teams beat this team's ass. FAU is a good example.

You think the guy who plays 3rd in the 17 or 18 games he's taken the hill this season has never seen a bunt? Especially in practice with a team that does it all the time? Dropping a bunt in that game against that team would turn out about as well as when Mullen tried to run the triple option against Georgia Tech in the Orange Bowl.

Game was probably lost in 1st inning. 2 on, 1 out for Collins with 3-0 count. Collins took strike 1 on outside corner. Then he swung at the same pitch on the outside black. It's 3-1... Collins has to look for a pitch in a certain location and take if it isn't there. Collins swung at a pitcher's pitch when he didn't have to. We have to be more selective

Collins needs to get a little closer to the plate. IMHO

We're below average (sec terms) in range defensively at 3b, LF, SS, and 1b. I really hate low scoring, defensive games

So he is their closer and their number two starter? He had only started five games all year and they had pitched him 134 pitches tonight. He isn't pitching the rest of the weekend. They don't have a lot of pitching depth and I think our pen is better. If we force a game three, we win. We have three starters left in Sexton, Houston, and Pilk. I think they we see their ace tomorrow. I don't think they win it in three.
