Last night and tonight has been humbling. I don't expect to see us in Omaha. Our best 2 pitchers have looked average at best vs good competition

Not looking good is an understatement ... we're getting killed at the moment. We might come back, but it doesn't seem likely at all. They just don't look good (although they're getting good "wood" on the ball).

I know we had high expectations coming into this tourney, but some of you guys need to take a Xanax or something. We won the SEC championship. Yes, I wanted us to win the tourney as well coming into the week, but this tourney is meaningless. Cohen is using this week to get reps for guys who haven't had many in a while, which will give us a much better chance of making a deep run in the real tourney. Step away from the ledge, guys. We are an elite team this year, and will prove it in the next couple of weeks.

True, and the big field in Omaha will play to our disadvantage just like Hoover. It's opposite of the way it used to be for us.

We are only down 4 runs against a guy we absolutely destroyed on their home field. I'm not giving up on this one, yet.

Nobody's on the ledge. If you're expecting rainbows and butterflies in a game thread where we're getting hammered...may want to check out. No sense in playing "negative police" in a game thread. It will get you nowhere. Just saying.
Let people vent, & everyone will be ready to roll for Regionals with restored optimism

Haha, negative police? Did I somehow wind up on Gene's page?
I know people want to vent. That's fine, vent away, but I am a positive guy and will refute points which I think are incorrect or misguided.
