1. Hudson is elite against bad teams and average against good teams. Go look at starts against FLA, LSU, A&M
2. We weren't focused at all tonight which is frustrating. No excuse for the errors.
3. Humphreys has got to get out of the slump if we are going to make a fun. He has not been himself lately.
4. Hopefully we got a dose of reality tonight. Idk if we will come back or not, but if we don't we better come out focused tomorrow, because it won't get any easier, and if you make errors against Florida, it won't be 6-2 it will be 16-2.
Lastly I forgot, no reason to change the lineup tonight. If you want to play Stovall that's fine, but don't screw with the order.
As always Hail State and see you boys tomorrow.
I didn't like sitting holland. Holland has played really well lately

I feel like we'll be coming home after tomorrow's game. Hopefully we can find our magic again for the Regionals. Playing LSU is the worst thing that could have happened to us.

I don't mind it. He was rusty on the diamond. We may need him moving forward. This is a throw away game. It will still hurt if we don't won (my beard..)

Grid has been awful in the field tonight. He needs to get his head right.

I wish we could get LA some reps. Not saying he should start or whatever, but reps are needed badly.

Nothing like your first loss in 13 games to showcase the fact that in reality, everything sucks.

Those two are interchangeable to me. I don't really care which one plays. The thing that beat us tonight was Hudson getting hit hard and errors. You don't make 3 errors and beat any team with a pulse.

I'm not sure what the deal is with Luke, but I really wish he was SS when Hudson pitches. Hudson gives up a lot of groundball singles that I'm and I'm sure Luke could get to more than Gridley.

I think the biggest thing tonight is that Cohen miscalculated. We should have been aggressive at the plate to start with and then laid off. Instead, we laid off and then we played right into LSU's game plan. It was a miscalculation.
The errors certainly didn't help.

I think it's time to transfer the name of black hole to rooker or hump. I'm good with either atm. ha
Do I not look like a pothouse? Six foot down the bar. Go on, jog on, walk on, goodbye, bon voyage, **** off.

No. The incessant fakes with a runner on third and nobody warming up effectively took our own pitcher out of his pitching rythm. I get doing that with q lead. Makes perfect sense.
Again he gets the kids to throw well. But lsu knew hiw to approach us tonight and until this point in the 8th is being mocked and innefective.

I'm not sure either and I agree with you. I watched them take infield last weekend and LA looked great. I suppose at this point, due to the hand, he is emergency only. Even with that though, he needs some reps.

Most human beings with two good legs could get to more than Gridley, and even some single amputees. On top of that he almost sailed one into the front row, costing us two runs and momentum.

Also, changing the lineup didn't help. I don't know how much it hurt, but it certainly didn't have the effect that Cohen thought it would.

Changing the lineup was stupid. It just was.
