I agree with that. If nothing else, maybe bear can make the practice squad... Pretty good money there

In the right offense he could be deadly, Aaron Hernandez like but minus the actual killing?
-
I think this is a good fit. The way New England uses tight ends maybe Bear can play there some and split out for red zone mismatches. Best of luck to you Bear in this opportunity. Thanks, for your time at State.

Belichik likes the big receivers. He already has the quick fast little slot guys, the pats need some size at outside receiver. Hopefully bear can make the practice squad to begin with and work his way up.

Ouch lol!

Every time I watched him play, I thought he had nfl skills. I guess that's why I'm not an NFL scout . I'm still thinking his development will continue big time. From 1 yr of hs ball to the sec was impressive. I don't think the football world has seen the last of bear. This guy is tough and learns fast.

He isn't a great route runner, not fast, not very good vertical, and catches with his body. He's a gamer though and it wouldn't surprise me if he ends up in the nfl

And he loves throwing a block. Congrats D Wilson. Loved having you part of the team. I look forward to seeing you score on some fools.

Pats will make him a hybrid TE and he'll do well in that role. Congrats Bear!!
-
Couldn't have landed in a better spot. It's actually good he didn't get drafted.

Agree on both.
Also the Packers are little thin at LB wouldn't be surprised to see Bennie make that roster as well..

This is a very good analysis. He's a good blocker tho.

I've always thought that with his size and blocking ability that his NFL position would be a gronk or Jimmy Graham type TE.

Same here. DeRunnya is a weapon if you use him right. He's excellent at shielding faster smaller guys off and catching the back shoulder or quick slant. His rebounding skills have helped him in this area a ton.

Anybody hear what he got to sign? Clausell got 10K last year
Walk like the King or walk like you don't care who the King is

I'm gonna assume bear will make the pats' practice squad. Anyone know how long players generally last on a practice squad in the nfl?
-
Bear is rawer then raw. Hopefully the Pats got a diamond in the rough.
