I totally forgot we pinch ran Hump, I was furious he didn't get a chance in the 9th.

This is why Cohen will never win an SEC championship. Lose the second game of the DH and we lose a national seed. He ****ed the lineup when he put it together and messed up the rhythm of our 1-6 hitters then to top it all off Johnson runs nine pitchers out there. That sucked ass. This was the worst coaching job he has done this year.

If he would have left Humphreys in the game we would have scored the SAME one run with Smith. I still can't believe he did that.

Lost in all this talk is the offensive juggernaut we trotted out there today. National seed my butt. That idea has always been laughable.

Yeah that was dumb as hell and yes Hump would have made it to third on a wild throw at first.

This is why we can't sweep a series. One game out of the weekend we have to step on our own dicks and **** around like we don't think it matters if we win or lose. My only hope now is that once we get to the Regionals the significance of each game will be too much to ignore and we'll have the level of intensity we usually have on Friday/Saturday every game.

In probably 25 years of actively watching and understanding baseball....
I can say with complete confidence that the first game of today's double header was without question the most poorly managed game by a coaching staff at any level that I have ever seen.
We pulled our best starter after only 62 pitches in the middle of a 2-2 count with a guy on 3rd and only one run allowed.
We regularly pulled some of our best bullpen guys out of the game after a single walk in the middle innings which left us with table scraps to try and close the game.
We pinch ran for our closer in the top of the 9th of a tie game.
Just unreal.

Time to see what we are made of in game 3.
Hey, Humphreys is still available now to pitch. Saving him for the third game I guess.****

What sucks is we have to play again. I can't wait to see the lineup for game 3. Lowe will probably lead off or some crazy shite.

Apparently Cohen is so smart that he's stupid I guess. I don't really know how to explain the asinine pitching moves he made today.

Its a much bigger pitcher than just that...
You have your #2 guy on the bump score is 2-1 in the ****ing 3rd inning with 2 outs. Not one coach in America takes him out there. Plus now his mental state is ****ed. He has no idea when he might get run .. Let the kid compete. That's why he is ur #2.
Everyone has been screaming for Alexander. Well we pinch hit for him in a tie game in the 4th with a kid who hasn't had a meaningfully AB since when ?.. Vandy?? And btw if Lowe pulls a hammy or gets tossed who plays first now.? Holland then who moves to second ? Collins? Hump at 3b...
That's little league shit.. **** unorthodox .. That's Busch league coaching.
Running for Hump in the 9th .. I guess maybe.. But shit is Hump that slow?? It's not Wes Rea.
managed games like that is what gets ur ass lit up ...

A decision that will live in infamy. Lose this next one and we lose a national seed.

A game that Cohen best not mess around in. TAMU just lost to Arkansas and we could have been tied for the West lead if we just threw strikes.

You thought we played that game like it didn't matter if we lost or not? The problem with that game is that we were WAY too tight.

We should have won and been tied for first in the west. But Cohen takes Sexton out after he throws a ball on a 1-2 pitch with two outs, making sure not to give the hitter anything good to hit with the tying run at third!!! Then proceeds to one up that by bringing in pitchers on 2-0 counts and after only facing one batter! The pitchers coming into the game are not confident enough and he makes it much worse on them with the quick hook!!
