    This is disappointing. Dawgs had a shot to win two. It doesn't matter what diamond sport it is, I believe no single aspect of the game is more critical to the outcome than getting the leadoff batter out/on base, whichever is your case.

    MSU drops to 24-23, 3-15 SEC

    There is a Tuesday night game at 6:00pm at Nusz Park against South Alabama, followed by a Wednesday road game against MVSU in Itta Bena, also at 6:00pm. With only eight games remaining, winning four will all but guarantee we'll get an at-large postseason bid. If we fail to win four of the final eight, we will be in the position of having to upset a top 5 team to make the postseason. So, let's beat these two for sure.
