Me either. That's a really good question Jack. Memory isn't everything but it sure doesn't seem like it. Especially at least among those that started.

We signed Josh Riddell a few years back with Croom. He was from Cali, I believe.

We signed one under Sherrill who played WR. Name escapes me. He was pretty good.

That's him. Good memory. He had a circus catch in the Memphis opener that year it was at the Liberty Bowl and it was 200 degrees.

Yes it was Kelvin Love. Tyson Lee was a walk on so we didn't sign him either. The only QB that I can remember was Riddel who barely played. Of course he could have been a great QB but McCorvey developed him into a waterboy. That is how QB development worked under Croom.

Didn't Riddel tear his ACL pretty quick when he started getting P/T?

Yeah, exactly what happened. He looked like he was going to be good then was never heard from aGAIN. We went back to Furry Mike and we all know how THAT worked out.

Yep, he was the backup to Henig and took over the starting job when Henig got hurt. Believe he tore his ACL in his first start and that is when we went to Wesley Carroll as a true freshman. Ironically that was Croom's only winning season.

the best JUCO QB ever signed by MSU===Jackie Parker--Jones Jr.
Don Edwards and Bill Buckner from Scooba were also 2 good ones.
