    Well, I saw a ridiculous rumor that Memphis wanted to talk to Kennedy. That would be the only reason they would be talking to someone else, I'm sure. BUT....I don't think there's any way in hell Memphis is looking at Kennedy. So, it's all likely BS.

    I think that's probably a mix-up. Kennedy and Pearl have both been mentioned in regards to the Memphis vacancy, but I doubt Pearl would be interested in OM. Neither is likely to end up at Memphis.

    AK just got a 4-year extension and raise to $1.9M last year; Pearl makes about $2.2M and has a hefty buy-out.

    UNM might be the worst job in the SEC. I don't think you go from AU to UNM on purpose. You also have to look at the school going on probation for multiple sports has an effect on how aggressive you can be in recruiting for Mens basketball.

    Memphis would be stupid to want AK. Pearl ain't going to OM, either, that would be at best a lateral move, and mostly likely a down step from where he is.
