The investigation is STILL ongoing? Lmao
I said it the other day, and I'll say it again, I think the NCAA has descended into one gigantic rabbit hole. I bet they are finding so much stuff that they are having trouble keeping their details in order. I wish I knew a fraction of what they have uncovered.

If the ncaa is offering recruits (who signed elsewhere) immunity for being truthful as has been speculated, the ncaa might very well interview every highly recruited player that stepped foot on olemiss' campus in the last two or three years. Could take awhile.

2. Ole Miss did not have a JR Day in March & won't have a Spring Game. Why give up opportunities to get prospects on campus? Steve believes sanctions are already coming down.
3. Hugh Freeze has personally been calling around to find out who Steve's source is. This got back to Steve.
4. Ole Miss has already begun disassociating boosters & some of those boosters are proud that they are a part of an NCAA investigation.
5. The investigation is still on-going. Interviews have been going on this week.
There may have been a few more details, but that's the major points.
Steve said no Spring game because their stadium is under construction. He is speculating on the reasons for TSUN waiting until April for their first Jr Day, and said he is reaching out to see if there is anything behind the delay. I don't think they have necessarily reduced the # of Jr Days they can hold, rather they became the last SEC school to have their first one.

This reminds me of the high school cheer mom whose daughter was caught drinking and suspended for a game. All the mom wanted to know was 'WHO TOLD?!?!??!!' Uhh...focus on the issue maybe?

It is pretty unheard of for you to have your 1st Jr Day in April. Jr Days usually start the end of January/beginning of February. It makes no sense to wait 2 whole months before you bring kids on campus.

OK, my question though is: what type of sanction would this be?
By still having a JR day in April, it's not like they aren't allowed to have a JR day. So, what's the sanction? Can't have a JR day before April?
Is that even a punishment?

That's a Steve question. Just making an observation that every other school having 1 or 2 Jr Day's before you have 1 doesn't make any sense. If that was Mullen & Co. plenty on here would be calling him all kind of sorry, lazy SOB's.

And you can lump Josiah Coatney in that also. Why wait until April to bring him in? Not saying there is anything to it. Just weird coincidences.

They are just looking out for the coeds. Don't want them freezing to death in the short skirts they have to wear when recruits are around.

When is the last time an SEC team hasn't had a Spring Game??
Walk like the King or walk like you don't care who the King is

Especially coming off of a season like they just had.

Pretty sure A&M didnt last year

The lateness of the Jr Day is odd, perhaps telling, but Steve did say the lack of a Spring game is due to ongoing renovations at VH.

The way he worded it was something to the effect of "said booster was all big headed thinking he was something cause the NCAA actually thought enough of HIM to interview him & he thought he was a big deal so he told them a lot of info. Then he got banned from buying season tix & disassociated from the univ. for telling on himself." Guess he didn't realize the repercussions of what he was doing.
Of course that doesn't mean he won't continue to buy them from his wife's name or someone else's name, I guess.

If this is true, who in the hell they gonna get to keep it alive? Thats the reason they switched to a rug in the first place.

My office used to be in the same bldg with them downtown. Now both offices have moved out of downtown & they're down the street from us.

I still can't get over Hugh Freeze trying to ask around and make inquiries into Steve and his sources! What a clown!

Why are you surprised? He searches his name on Twitter daily & responds to trolls.
