    New Football Commit

    Lee Autry DT from Itawamba CC committed this morning. Lee is the younger brother of former Dawg & current Raiders DE Denico Autry.

    I like JUCO's. It is an advantage that MSU has over other SEC schools(not UM). I think we need to scout them a little Harder. They don't have to be Super Stars but they for sure need to make the 2 deep. Of course a Super star would be appreciated. And I really don't see a problem with red-shirting them. They need to be SEC ready when they step on the field.

    Agree with you here....I see no problem either. Rather redshirt them than waste a year...make sure they are ready for SEC play.

    He's a 2017 guy so he'll have 3 to play 2. Yes we'll take at least 1 more Juco DL maybe 2 depending on how things shake out.

    You lose Jefferson, Calvin, Dale, Adams and James. The only Junior on the roster in 2016 will be Tre Brown. Since you are switching to a 3-4, wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to replace those guys with Joe Anderson, Deion Pope, Lee Autry and a couple of high school guys (Aaron Odom, etc.)

    Untrained eye, but from that highlight video he seems to be a good tackler. Decent at getting off blocks and plugging holes. Good instincts and awareness. Probably needs to work on getting a quicker 1st step, but I think this is a great pick up.

    I'm a NEMCC alum and saw we extended an offer to Anthony(?) Rush. Haven't seen film on him...what's your opinion?

    I really liked Anthony but I believe it was an either or with him & Autry for the NG slot.
