If tonight's game gets rained out...
would there likely be a DH on Saturday?
-
Rain will be gone by 5:00 this evening. There will be baseball tonight.
-
The game doesn't appear to be on TV. Why are we playing a Thu-Sat series?
The Liberation will not be televised--- when it arrives like lightning in the skies!

Easter. Everybody in the SEC is playing Thu-Sat.

Stricklin said a DH on Friday if we rain out tonight. However, I fully expect to play tonight. Storms will be past after 5 or so for sure. Field drains really, really well. We throw first pitch on time tonight.
The air behind this system is cool though, so take a coat. Down in the 50s this morning in Houston after the storm passed.

Well looks like the game will be a go tonight so its a non-issue but had there been a rainout I don't understand why you would play the DH on Friday instead of Saturday. I mean why play one of your SEC games while people are at work? Very few people get off for Good Friday.

You have a good point. I was wondering if Georgia's travel plans Saturday would affect it.

The thurs-sat series doesn't "gain" you an extra day. Therefore, Saturday is get away day. If the dh is sat(the last day in scheduled series) you play 2 7 inning games. On Friday it would be 2 9 inning games. Just the way it's set up.

Also, if you do Thursday-Saturday so players spend Easter Sunday at home.... The DH on Saturday could potentially cramp travel plans.
