I want the guys that want to be here. There is a certain type of guy that comes to Mississippi State. They are blue collar, lunch pale guys. They keep their head low and keep pushing when it seems like there is no end in sight. They are not the flashy pre-madonnas. They don't have to be stroked or coddled or told how great they are every day. They know how great they are but they also know how great they can be and they will be if they put in the work. They know that life in the SEC West for State isn't easy but they relish the opportunity to be the team, that team, that busts through the glass ceiling and plays on the hallowed ground of the Georgio Dome for the SEC Championship. Those are the guys I want. So I am thankful to every young man that is committed and will committee to State this year. I wish the others good luck in life.

Glad to have every player who signs with us and be a part of the MSU family. Once the LOI are signed those our our young men that choose to be a part of a great university and football program. May get blasted for this but I appreciate the hard work and long hours the coaches have done as well. I know people want to hammer when things don't go the way you want but the coaching staff has elevated so much if this program that I have to give them a lot of credit. #HailState
