I think we are around 13 decommitments for the 2016 class. That shit is crazy.
Maybe someone can help me:
Robert Washington
Scott Lashley
Tre Turner
Briston Guidry
Zach Farrar
Raekwon Davis
Zaire Jones

Once Farrar was offered by Oklahoma, it should have been obvious that he'd flip. Oklahoma is 2 1/2 hours from his high school and Starkville is 8 1/2. The kid also grew up an Oklahoma fan. It makes perfect sense to me that he'd flip. The only way he doesnt is if we are cheating our asses off.
Now, how you get kids out of Allen high school that have offers from those same schools, I have no clue.
Farrah flipping makes sense. Not sure what our coaches could do.
Just makes getting AJ that much more important. However, the deck seems to be stacked against us on that one as well.

Not bringing turner in for an OV and not getting mcinnis could turn out to be mistakes

We should offer Lorenzo Dantzler tonight. We clearly have room, he's a solid hard working player, & he's buddies with AJ. Worst case scenario, we don't get AJ but we end up with a guy looking to prove he's an SEC player & plays over his head.

So we are going to be lucky to have a class ranked in the 30's coming off two good seasons. Oof

It's tough to compete in this conference without cheating. Damned if you do, damned if you don't situation.
We just got off of NCAA probation this past summer I believe. Why don't we see what happens to Ole Miss? Could get very interesting when OM receives "all" their recrutiing violations.

Pretty freaking pitiful is what it is. It's as if we lack modern facilities or weight room. No one can convince me that everyone else would have this much trouble getting players here. I'm not sure anybody would.

if it would help with Willie Gay and others, I say do it. There's still time though. This time tomorrow may be the time to think about panicking.

Kobe left his visit at UNM today and went to talk with our coaches this afternoon. We have offered a JUCO DE/OL Gary McRae, former Georgia commit tonight. I think after Farrar.

It's cause there isn't shit to do in Starkville. Other than bulldog bash or super bull dog weekend there is literally nothing to do. I hate to say this cause I've been a state fan my whole life but when we have big recruiting weekends the recruits don't have anything to do really. I wish Starkville would build more shit and have more stuff to do. The population isn't that great there so I understand it is what it is. But unless we are paying the shit out of these players we will never have. Great recruiting class I'm sorry but that's the truth. Last years class was the best I can remember in a long time if not ever since Sherrill was here.

See, I'd rather have Dantzler...especially since it appears we may need some help recruiting our own city.

Garbage. Starkville is no worse than Oxford...they just know how to talk themselves up, so they have a false perception. We have posts like this while OM fans are busy posting how incredible their town is. That's the difference...we do ourselves zero favors.

There's literally NOTHING more to do in Oxford than in Starkville. That is OM propaganda bullshit. Football players are too busy to **** around in the grove, or bars anyway. It's not a factor.

We've covered this before. Completely different situation than Bradley. It would not help us with AJ.

The only thing Oxford has that Starkville lacks is a modern department store. That's quite the attraction for players**

#1. You don't know that.
#2. Even if it doesn't, it could help us with SHS kids the next few years.
#3. Dantzler is a good player. Better than reaching for some 2 star Juco career bench warmer.
#4. I bet you didn't want Bradley either.
It's not all about AJ.
