His offer is listed on Scout & Rivals just not 247 for some reason. I believe we'd take him if he wanted to come.

I have a question on Marquis Spencer - I know he was reclassified for this year's class, but in my experience when that happens it almost always means they are going juco early. Do we expect Spencer to be on campus in 2016? I really hope so, we need him, but Im hearing different things on him. Anyone from the Delta got any info. Its just a rarity for a player from the Delta to amass enough credits to basically be re-classified as a senior and go on to a 4 year school.

Just wondering.

Also, I heard today that AJ will be visiting with everyone else the weekend of the 22nd, sorry for burying the lead.

He's taking a couple extra classes to make sure he qualifies. The word is he should be good to go.

The Spencer deal is just an odd thing. Kid was a junior all season and then gets re-classified. Normally when that happens you have a situation where a kid doesn't have the core classes and he is getting out early so that he can get a jump on Juco. That is the norm. Apparently Spencer is a good student and has his core in tact and will be good to go.

Yea it was a lot of misinformation or false information put out about Spencer when he 1st re-classified. I think most just assumed because he was re-classifying it was because he was 1. Too old to play in 2017 or 2. He was so behind in grades he was just trying to get a head start on Juco. Obviously he wasn't near as bad as people thought & he's on the plan now to make sure he's here this summer.
