That is THE main thing that separates programs that really contend every year from those that are where we are where we are right now. That's really the next step for us. That that Is the next step tells you exactly how far we have come. That's why I don't get on the coaches like many do. We ARE making progress. The general trajectory has been up ever since Mullen got here.

When in that first half have we gotten a push up the middle? Everyone was keying on Dak.

Well I'd love to go 9-3, but OM is licking their chops watching this shit. Hell they know they can beat our ass. Arkansas is too physical for us. Don't see it working out.

You're absolutely correct. Hevesy is not the answer.

I can totally live with getting beat, if it's just because the other team is better....but when you make stupid play calls, dumb 4th down decisions when you could gain momentum with a 3-0 lead, punt a line drive allowing a TD, run a QB draw on 3rd and 13 like a gutless quitter, etc.....THAT is when I get pissed.
It is clear that we likely don't win this game even if we play perfect Bc our OL sucks. But the other shit we've done that has kept this from being a 14-9 or 7-6 game, is what burns me up. Just one time can we come out and execute well...win or lose, just not blow our feet off all game. That's all I want

I can agree with this. This game may look ugly because of a few big plays, but we have steadily gotten better each year.

We came into this game only giving up 13 sacks all year. We were #4 in sec in sacks allowed. You wanna say we can't run block, I agree. We've been good passing protecting all year though

Bama offense first half...
2 plays = 134 yards
21 plays = 46 yards
23 plays = 180 yards

Something needs to change the common denominator is Dan. Not saying he needs to go but we need an offensive coordinator and someone that can take charge of the OL situation. Id burn as much cash as possible to snag a Tebow type solely for recruiting purposes. This shit kills me our D comes out playing lights out and we can't help em out and get some points. Couple busted plays blew this thing open and it'll be like last year where we run out of time. Dak has held the ball to long but look at the plays he has no where to run and can't escape the pocket because they are closing in from everywhere. Wanna blame this on him because of a few throws while he's running for his life every other play go ahead, but the reason we aren't in this isn't because of him

Bama's front 7 will all be first round picks. We need to start scheduling this game earlier in the season before they start to mesh.

When the ball is on the 1 yard line and the score is 0-0 and you are at home you always go for the touchdown on 4th down. Worst case scenario (which happened) they have to go 99 yards and you have a great chance at a safety.

Exactly. Actually talented big guys are the rarest commodity on the recruiting trail. Which is why we have such a difficult time keeping them stockpiled. But despite the talent deficiency, Mullen keeps getting us back to bowls.

I'm not blaming Dak for us losing, but he has to make quicker decisions bc we can't block them for long at all

Talk bad about TSUN all anyone wants but at least they've beat Bama twice in a row.

Given the outcome it worked out and 21-6 doesn't look much better
