Well the self-proclaimed "flagship" unversity seems to struggle with grades

NMU seems to be very consistent. Their hospital (ummc) gets a F on its evaluation and they have the third worse average graduation rate of the top 25 bowl teams. They have a 60 while the people's university has a 72. They can't hide these facts and results.

Even worse. The Federal Graduation rate, considered by most to be more accurate, has UNM with a 38% graduation rate for football. That is the LOWEST reported FGR of any FBS school!

Any day is a good day to give the Black Bears Named Rebel shit. They deserve it in spades, and would not hesitate to give it to us, if they could.

I'd like to see a link to those numbers as well. I'm telling you, you have to be very, very stupid to not graduate UMiss. I swear what I'm about to type is the honest to God truth, and I wish there was some way I could prove it. I'm not being biased at all. But I went to State for about 2 years majoring in Landscape Architecture before changing majors and transferring to UMiss. MOST of my classes were at the Tupelo campus but I had several I had to take in Oxford, too. I was absolutely shocked at how much easier UMiss was academically. My GPA shot up from a 2.5 to making the Chancellor's list, and that was with a full-time job. Seriously, it was more like a community college. I had some instructors that would even tell us what would be on the exam...Not so at State.

If those numbers are legit, then UMiss is recruiting some exceptionally stupid players.

This link shows 60 percent. Can't find the 38 number blacklisted claimed. Still proud to see us in the good half of the list: http://collegespun.com/independents/...raduation-rate

You are looking at GSR, not FGR. In GSR, UNM is tied for 2nd worst in the SEC at 60%. UPig is the only SEC school worse, at 58%. The rate compiled using the federal government's methodology does not count transfers in and counts transfers out as graduation failures. For this reason, many feel the FGR is a much more accurate assessment of a school's academic success. UNM's FGR rate is 38%.
    http://web1.ncaa.org/GSRSearch/exec/searchSelectAction

This is the chart, beginning from reported FGR ordered lowest to highest. Pasting does not allow me to keep the format, but the FGR, or Federal Graduation Rate is the number farthest to the right.
