Both of those lines seem high

Bama has already shrunk to -5 1/5

I would too, IF it was in Fayetteville or Little Rock but it's not. UNM will beat
them in Oxford. I hope not but I think they will.

Both of those lines will come down from 7 and 11.

Take the Ark line to the bank. Is there a Moneyline on a spread this wide? I'd like to put some on that Moneyline if available. Bad matchup for Bears.

Will likely be between +270 and +300

Ole Miss won't lose to them at home. They are a totally different club at home.

The thing about both of those games is the clock is going to run a lot with huddling and I formations.

Who have they played at home that has actually challenged them? A&M's dumpster was already on fire before Oxford. The rest have been cupcakes including shitty Vandy.
Oh wait, Vandy was driving to potentially take the lead midway through 4th (score 20-16 OM at the time) and threw a fluke pick and OM scored right after that to make it look lopsided. This made the game seem lopsided to "score watchers" and not as close as it actually was on the field. But let's not let facts and actual on field performances get in the way of a good fictional story.

Arkansas is not very good. I'm not picking them to beat the 85 bears. It will probably be a pretty close game but I expect them to pull it out at home. We really need them to win, so maybe I'm letting that cloud my judgement.

I found this betting site last year and it has a message board on there. Several guys put their picks on there every week. One guy that gets a lot of traffic has currently had 9 of 9 winning weeks this year. On Sunday's he'll put up any picks that he sees from the opening lines before they change. He has put up very very few this year as he says the lines have been more accurate this year than he has seen in years, so not much has jumped out at him on the opening lines. Therefore, he has taken more time through the week in analyzing games and making his picks. Anyway, he put down two takes today on opening lines. One was Arky at +11.
Of course this doesn't mean he's thinking Arky will win, only that he's predicting they lose by no more than 10. Since ya'll were talking about this one, I thought I'd throw that out there.

Forgive my ignorance, but someone esplain moneyline. I get pointspreads

It's odds of a team winning outright, usually based off of point spread. Larger spread, larger money line odds. I'm guessing OM Moneyline to win is -330-350, meaning in order to win $100 on an OM outright win, someone would need to wager $330-$350.
ETA. Or someone could wager $100 on Ark to win outright and win $270-330 depending on line. Potential to win more but risking more because odds are in OM favor.

No prob. There may be more to it that someone else can add. This is just my understanding. And the Moneyline is always set for the house to collect the juice.
