jax st's kicker had plenty of leg on that 50 yards attempt earlier too, so if they picked up just 25 or so yards, they would have had a long FG attempt with a kicker with enough league to get it there.

JSU wants to see OT next to the schedule results vs Auburn. They are an Alabama school. Now when they go into Alabama HS recruits homes they can forever show that OT vs Auburn. Coach was preserving that. Forever JSU has an OT game vs Auburn now.

They were going to OT either way. There was no way Auburn was going to get it and score in that time frame.

Auburn was ramming it right down Jsu's throat to end regulation. Jsu's coach had to have gotten an offer to blow it... Only thing that makes sense.
(Half kidding)

Jsu's coach owes his team a huge apology. Playing for OT was ridiculous

Remember ULL @ Florida couple years ago? I get why he guaranteed OT. He wasn't leaving today without atleast having OT to sell to recruits in his state against the monster that is Auburn.

i think selling auburn scoring in the final minute on a typical auburn miracle would have sold recruits just as well.
