I've had these thoughts as well. Like he'll put up better numbers, yardage, yac, receptions, than DW.

We have more sacks this year than we did last year, which I believe was 37 last year.

Our HS Marching Band is performing at the Sugar Bowl, and both my kids march. Their band director asked me to chaperon and turned it down. When he asked why, I said "My luck, if I go Ole Miss will rep the SEC and I'll have to watch them win. If I don't go, State will go and win, and my kids will rub it in my face forever."
State wins the Sugar.

MSU's defense is one of the top 6 in the SEC.
BTW, it's been officially confirmed by Paul that McLaurin has 4 INTs in the scrimmage.

This could be an indictment of the qb's or our oline not protecting them. Definitely like hearing mclaurin doing well either way

Our safeties are not as big of a weakness as everyone thinks they are

Ah, who knows.
I think the fact the QBs are not part of the running game in scrimmages has as much to do with it as anything. Our offense is based around that threat both in the run game & play action game. Without, it limits the deception of our offense.

Alabama loses 3 games.
State has a top 5 defense.
LSU loses 4 games.
Texas A&M finishes 7th.

I agree.
It'd be interesting knowing what qb's passes were picked off
