    Gold Cup Match Thread: USA v Panama

    Last game of the Group Stage, boys. Panama is a strong squad who has scored at least one goal in each of their previous matches. We will have our work cut out for us.

    Starting XI:

    GUZAN

    CHANDLER, ALVARADO, BROOKS, JOHNSON

    BEDOYA, BECKERMAN, BRADLEY, MORALES

    WONDOLOWSKI, ZARDES

    Looks like we are running a 4-4-2 with no Altidore...

    I like Altidore, but I gotta say I'm pumped to see him out of the lineup tonight. I bet we look so much better in this 4-4-2...even without Dempsey

    Official is Mexican official Roberto Garcia Orozco.

    He's an experienced official who has officiated in the 2012 Olympics and 2014 World Cup.

    Altidore has been lackluster at best. Hope he returns to form but until he does, he should be a 2nd half sub if we need an offensive spark.

    So apparently this officiating crew was supposed to do the earlier match between Haiti and Honduras. Honduras appealed to CONCACAF about it and they decided to flip flop the crews.

    Offisdes prevents a Panama goal, and it's the correct call. He was off by half a body.
