New Floor
Heard Coach Howland say yesterday at lunch that he wanted a new floor in the hump. Said the old floor was over 20 years old and was very hard with no give. He thought this was a major factor with our ongoing injury problems. The new floors have more give.

New floor it is. Cut the check.

My thought exactly.

If you put 3 tripes on one baseline corner and a trefoil on the other, we won't need to cut the check.

Yeah, but would our announcers have to stop calling it, "The Hump" and start calling it, "Adidas Arena"? Couldn't exactly call it, "The Adidas Hump", now could we?

All the injuries seem to happen during practice not games. Are we replacing the practice gym floor too?

That's what I was thinking, although I'm sure the practice floor is of the "new" variety.

The Adidas Hump sounds like a new kind of dance.

I thought we were already getting a new floor at the hump? I swear that it was posted on Twitter a few months ago, before Howland was hired.

Hell go ahead and name it Howland Court

It's already in the works, and fans are allowed to vote on the design.

So it's gonna happen before the season? Hopefully they get on it

It's super easy to put down the vinyl necessary for the design. Doesn't take long at all. Crap...we've put stuff on the court for a week or so all the time.

The practice floor is not the same as the arena . It doesn't have the same subflooring as the arena floor. I know its a lot louder , and I would assume that due to the lack of the subflooring, has more give.. Being over the garage , didn't allow for more for a better word soundproofing.
I remember asking LT when they replaced the floor the last time why it was necessary as I flat didn't know why. He said being old it stretches and harder to put together and take down.

They practice on the Hump's floor a lot as well which may be the floor that the injuries are happening on.
