    Isn't there now a relatively new iron rod fence that encompasses the whole field? I know there is one down the East sideline and around the South end zone that I assumed was there to keep onrushers from coming onto the field or something like that. Maybe there won't be one on the North end zone so as to keep the Gridiron club with a clear view to the field.

    It extends down the sidelines, but ends at the beginning of the current chain-link fence...You can see it a bit in the top-left of the picture...

    It looks like the playclock is being mounted on that wall right now as well, which had been expected for awhile since it blocked the view of a portion of the new student section...

    Well, looks like I spoke too soon. Looks like they built a new one 2-3 yards closer to the field of play.



    My guess is that it's temporary for this season to hide the "construction" going on inside the Gridiron Club.

    I had always wished they'd just put in the front rail and be done with it/leave it open...
