    Here's another transfer...

Sophomore point guard Nigel Williams-Goss is transferring out of Washington, according to Clay Dade, a summer basketball figure with connections throughout the sport.

Dade tweeted that Williams-Goss said he already has a release.

Williams-Goss averaged 15.6 points, 5.9 assists and 4.7 rebounds this past season.

I think AK will make a full-court press to try and get this kid. Getting in transfers is his only strategy. That and letting run and gun marginal talents jack up as many shots as they want.

Don't most of these guys have to sit a year?

I read a list of transfer the other day. It was way over 100. Only a few were immediately eligible.

Williams-Goss is a stud. He was arguably Findlay Prep's best player when Ndoye was there. They played and graduated together. Howland I'm sure recruited him. He was the #19 player on ESPN's top 100.

AK is striking out this offseason. We'll see how the band-aid holds up next year.

Strike 3 again for AK. Maybe he needs to be replaced with a pinch hitter?

Gotta be disconcerting for AK and om fans to be getting whipped in recruiting despite making the tourney 2 of 3 years and opening a new facility

    ????

It's usually not a problem for a person to have perimeter skills to go along with a post body. Those players are more valuable. Did you mean a 4 stuck in a 3's body?

He's 6'5-6'6" (maybe), but is thick like a 4. He and his family have realized that he'll never play the 4 in the pros with that size. So, he wants to play the 3...sad thing is, he can't dribble or shoot. He was on-off starting at Memphis, and had become an issue for that staff because of the family pushing for playing time at the 3 (which he doesn't have the skillset for). Pastner was not overly sad that he left.

    Gotcha.

I know he was a freak and I'm not sure he could even do it against todays players, but Barkley made it as a 4 while being at or under 6'6".
