Playing for the National title bought Cohen a lot of leeway. Another year this bad "might" do it but may just force him to make some changes.

Is Swinarski going to pan out? We could use some pop.

Perfect way to end it. Passively trying to draw a walk instead of looking to hit something.

And Reynolds backwards K to end it. 4-0 final. 29 scoreless innings and counting. Didn't see that coming.****

This is really hard to believe. Even in those first 2 miserable years when Cohen first got here I don't believe we ever came close to being shut out 3 games in a row. This season is over.

Was there any booing at the game today? There really needs to be a lot. And signs made about Cohen being stubborn and small ball doesn't work. Quit ****ing bunting!!

The fact people even bring up Joey Swinkarski's name is stupid. His swing is so long. And since everyone loves stats, he hit like .160 this summer I believe. But yet Daniel Garner wasn't good enough? Neither was Dylan Ingram who out hit Wes Rea ON THE SAME TEAM?!
If Gordon is as good as everyone says he is, pull the redshirt off him and let him hit. Let Michael Smith play. I don't ever wanna see Waddell, Spurill, or Rea in the game again. Move Reid to 1B if you have too. Rea walks around like he is something, but his performance since the CWS series has sucked.
I don't even want to start talking about our bullpen. Like many others have said it's ridiculous we only get a year of production out of guys. We need help.
All of these players come here thinking they're that good because we played for a CWS. Cohen has lost his intense edge. I can tell from talking to people. The year he went to the CWS he was on those boys hard until the end when he loosened up. This brings me to my other point, he has missed some evaluations in his recruiting phase as well. I do not wanna hear about how great our classes are anymore until they step on campus and show me something and frankly just a few guys have showed me something. Hump, Brown, Heck, Collins, and maybe Jacob Robson.

Most innings an MSU team has gone scoreless since 1976, I believe.

Oh I forgot to mention. Can someone tell the person running that HailStateBB twitter account, I could care a less what uniform we wear or their nice little pictures and stuff they put up. Get ready for a game and quit worrying about pleasing social media. It's getting out of hand.

Cohen should apologize to the fans for this shit show... Embarrassing..
It's Year 7 and we have been shutout by USM and Aubbie twice...
Our guys will shit their pants when they face the big boys of the league...

Only reason I mentioned Swinarski is he was supposed to be a MLB draft pick. We don't have that many hitters drafted.

Another case of did Cohen misevaluate or is he failing to develop? Either way, it's on him.

It's simple.
Either...
1.Our talent is overrated
2.We have coached them down
Really those are the only two options.
