    New coach and reasons why...

    Richard Williams

    1. Final Four and instant credibility. done great job with radio gig and has his juices going again. motivated..and very close to ss.. still has contacts in state and nationally.
    2. will bring fan bases back together
    3. Keenum made the call after a heated meeting in Starkvegas last weekend
    4. Strickland was caught off guard... go read the Clarion Ledger today... Horrible interview answers. He had let personal relationship with RR cloud his judgement
    5. Deal will be for 2-3 years unless RW wants more... Will be like Bill Snyder going back to Kansas State
    6. tsun folks are having private meetings with HW and his son Malik.... can name his price....
    7. lsu is a major threat for Malik. Johnny Jones and Wanye Simms (former LSU player and father of top 3 recruit) have spent ALOT of time in Jackson area and I have personally seen them @
    Ruth's Chris together multiple times in last year with Simm's son. AAU games and hot on trail of Malik
    8. kansas and kentucky are other major players
    9. possible local high school coach and former tsun player gets top assistant job for grooming to take over. will have Jackson basketball pipeline wrapped in Maroon for long time
    10 Keenum really stepped up with decision. lots of anger about way ss wasn't prepared after RS resigned. had no B plan..also lots of upset people about way new dudy noble plan is being forced down everyone's thoat with money having to be in house by July 30, 2015 and way baseball is tuning out to play so far..
    11.last chance for ss to get it right. basketball program has been set back 10 years due to RR cluster----!
    12. RWilliams to hit ground running ASAP!

    He's right about #3 also- but with all the smoke and talk about Howland- and I absolutely love Williams- it would be a tad disappointing. People saying Howland has an offer and calling coaches for a staff. Would be shocked if it's Williams
