I don't think there's any question there's a correlation between swinging the bat scoring runs. Unfortunately yesterday we were pretty much out of it and forced to NOT bunt...and had a big inning!! As I've mentioned before, we don't have the pitching to win 3-1. We have to play for big innings.

Damn Collins is back! He is a pro hitter. We may be about to see the difference in what one guy in the lineup make.

If we could get him behind the plate, it'd be a huge boost.

Some of you on this page are down on Rooker. If you'll look at the numbers, he is Humphreys from last year. In fact , maybe even a little ahead. He's developing. It takes time AND game experience for these young guys to become consistent producers. Rooker is a prospect. He runs well, has great size and big power. Ready for the limelight?? Probably not yet. But he's going to have to experience the limelight in order to be ready for it and produce when he's in it. I know he hasn't "come through" in a couple of situations but if you watch his AB's, he gets the barrell on the ball more often than not. That's about 80% of the battle. He's going to be a very good player for us. A couple weeks ago, several of you were ready to ride Hump out of town on a rail....

Our top 6 of our lineup is set in stone or should be. Collins makes all the difference in the world.

It's the dumbass element of fandom. Same was seen with shumpert early on during football season. People that lack experience with what they are discussing don't know a whole lot about development and adjustment. Takes time...especially in baseball.

Nice leadoff walk. I just don't get why we can't focus coming out of the dugout. Come on Butch.

Nice play grid! 1 down. Good pitch sequence to 2nd guy. Why can't we focus on leadoff guy
